Pro User Diamond SG2 bike carrier
. Due to the extension piece at the lockable quick-release coupling (mounting part for the tow ball) the SG2 Plus bike carrier can be used for mounting on MPV’s and vans with a large tailgate or hinged doors. This reliable bike carrier is suitable for transporting 2 bikes. During the development, particular consideration was given to the use of 2 pedelecs. You can fold the carrier compactly and store it in the supplied bag.
Use with Pedelecs
The Diamond SG2 Plus bike carrier is suitable for use with 2 electric bikes. Due to the load capacity of 60 kg (and therefore 30 kg per bike) and the own weight of 17 kg, you can place almost any e-bike on the carrier without exceeding the maximum load capacity of the tow bar. In addition, the carrier has a wheel gutter spacing of 22 cm.
Other properties
The Diamond SG2 is connected with a combined 7/13-pin (Jaeger) connector. This means that with a 13-pin connector you also have rear fog light and reversing lights. In addition, the carrier also has a tilt function, so you can reach the trunk when the Diamond SG2 Plus is mounted on the tow ball. This system can also be used when the bicycles are mounted on the carrier.
