The HangOut 3 is the basic carrier of the A-brand Yakima for mounting on the tailgate. Mounting when in use is very easy. The first time, however, the wearer has to be put together. The carrier is suitable for 3 bikes with a maximum weight of 21 kg per bike. The maximum load capacity of the carrier is 41 kg.
Suitable for multiple bikes
The Yakima HangOut 3 is suitable for all bikes (except E-Bikes). Children’s bikes and mountain bikes are no problem either. For easy mounting of BMX bikes, women’s bikes and mountain bikes we do recommend the optional Yakima TubeTop, this tube is mounted between the seatpost and stem. The Yakima HangOut 3 is suitable for 3 bikes and can carry a maximum weight of 41 kg (maximum 21 kg per bike).
User-friendly
The Yakima HangOut 3 has upholstered feet and coated metal buckles, so the carrier will not scratch or otherwise damage the car. The patented StableCradles keep the bikes securely in the holders on the tailgate bike carrier.
Storing the bike carrier is very easy. You can fold and store the HangOut 3 compactly.
Accessories HangOut 3
Various accessories are available for the Yakima HangOut 3:
- Yakima TubeTop: this adapter allows you to mount bikes without a standard frame (women’s bikes, mountain bikes etc.) on the carrier. The adapter is placed between the seatpost and headset and is also suitable for bikes with a carbon frame.
