With this adapter, you can also use your Thule VeloSpace XT3 bike carrier on cars and off-road vehicles with a spare wheel at the rear. The adapter has a kink so the bike carrier fits easily on the car. This adapter is to replace the normal rod. You can unscrew the normal rod by means of the two rotary knobs provided.
